A tape measure should be loosely placed around the neck to measure your neck size. You should be able to fit 2 fingers inside the tape measure.
Place the measuring tape around your back, under your armpits (with arms down) across the broadest part of your chest to take this measurement.
Holding your arm straight and parallel to the side of your body, measure from the ball of shoulder (or seam of another jacket) to the wrist or longer if preferred.
Normally a kilt is fasten at the belly button, but it’s totally up to you where you want to fasten it.
Please put your feet together Measure around the fullest part of your hip/seat
Kneel down on the floor with your back straight. Measure the distance from your navel/ tummy button to the floor.
Measure from C to ankle or normal position man wears his trousers.
Measure crotch to ankle or normal position man wears his trousers.

Measure snugly around your waist at the height of your belly button. if you would like to have the kilt sit a little lower, measure the waist exactly where you would like it to sit.
Take this measurement from the widest part of your hips.
Measure from the waist band to where on your leg you want the garment to reach.

For the best fit, please provide these 3 measurements carefully using a soft measuring tape.
Measure around your natural waist at belly button level, not where you normally wear jeans or trousers.
Example: 36 inches
Measure around the widest part of your hips or seat.
Example: 40 inches
Measure from your navel down to the middle of your knee while standing straight.
Example: 24 inches
Do not use your jeans or trouser size as your kilt size. Always measure yourself directly for an accurate fit.
