HOW TO MEASURE:
If you’re buying a kilt online for the first time then please read this guide.
It's easiest to have someone measure you
- Kilt measurement is not the same as your trouser / pant waist measurement.
- We recommend measuring at your belly button,for a more casual fit measure just above your hips.
- Stand straight up and relax
- Measure at points shown without holding your breath
- Ensure measurement is not taken over thick clothing
- Tape measure should be snug but not too tight
- All measurements measurement’s in inches
- Where Kilt is marked with waist size only, the following measurements apply:

MEN'S KILTS:
HAT SIZE:
around your head just above the eyebrows.
NECK:
A tape measure should be loosely placed around the neck to measure your neck size. You should be able to fit 2 fingers inside the tape measure.
CHEST / BUST:
Place the measuring tape around your back, under your armpits (with arms down) across the broadest part of your chest to take this measurement.
SLEEVE LENGTH:
Holding your arm straight and parallel to the side of your body, measure from the ball of shoulder (or seam of another jacket) to the wrist or longer if preferred.
WAIST:
Normally a kilt is fasten at the belly button, but it’s totally up to you where you want to fasten it.
SEAT:
Please put your feet together Measure around the fullest part of your hip/seat
KILT LENGTH:
Kneel down on the floor with your back straight. Measure the distance from your navel/ tummy button to the floor.
OUTSEAM:
Measure from C to ankle or normal position man wears his trousers.
INSEAM:
Measure crotch to ankle or normal position man wears his trousers.

Take this measurement from the widest part of your hips.

Measure from the waist band to where on your leg you want the garment to reach.

Very bad customer service !!!
1. : The colors do not match at all with the photo through which I had ordered.
2nd : The blouse is made of polyester according to the textile care label and not a good quality. I can't wear that on my skin, so I wanted to send it back.
3: My measurements (kilt) were exactly between two sizes, I had given them in centimeters and asked for advice in advance if the size I ordered did not fit from experience. I was sent a kilt that was far too big for me and I can't wear it.
4th: I had to write to customer service twice before I got an answer. Then I had to send a photo of the kilt I had bought and explain why the color wasn't right. I sent a photo of the picture from the store and the item I received to clearly show the difference. I was told that Scottish Heritage looks like the kilt I bought and not like the photo in the store!!!! An absurdity!
5th: I was offered an exchange for a different color, but it was not explained how this would be done. I wrote I would like to send everything back. After two more emails, I was given an address but did not receive a return label or any information about verification for a refund of the purchase price. I have not been assisted in any way by customer service for a return, or received any clarification on how a refund of the purchase price can take place. Below is a photo with the different colors: On the left what I got, on the right how it was advertised in the store. I am extremely disappointed and cannot recommend anyone to shop there!

I gave this a 4 as my waist measured 30.5 I got a 30 and it’s just a tad too big! I was contemplating going 31 inch round tummy but so glad I didn’t- so I’d go smaller as measurements aren’t true to size. The pleats don’t sit right, but managed to press it. Looks smart enough so fairly happy
Great skirt, terrific service, but taught that the traditional safety pin would accompany the skirt.
