HOW TO MEASURE:
If you’re buying a kilt online for the first time then please read this guide.
It's easiest to have someone measure you
- Kilt measurement is not the same as your trouser / pant waist measurement.
- We recommend measuring at your belly button,for a more casual fit measure just above your hips.
- Stand straight up and relax
- Measure at points shown without holding your breath
- Ensure measurement is not taken over thick clothing
- Tape measure should be snug but not too tight
- All measurements measurement’s in inches
- Where Kilt is marked with waist size only, the following measurements apply:

MEN'S KILTS:
HAT SIZE:
around your head just above the eyebrows.
NECK:
A tape measure should be loosely placed around the neck to measure your neck size. You should be able to fit 2 fingers inside the tape measure.
CHEST / BUST:
Place the measuring tape around your back, under your armpits (with arms down) across the broadest part of your chest to take this measurement.
SLEEVE LENGTH:
Holding your arm straight and parallel to the side of your body, measure from the ball of shoulder (or seam of another jacket) to the wrist or longer if preferred.
WAIST:
Normally a kilt is fasten at the belly button, but it’s totally up to you where you want to fasten it.
SEAT:
Please put your feet together Measure around the fullest part of your hip/seat
KILT LENGTH:
Kneel down on the floor with your back straight. Measure the distance from your navel/ tummy button to the floor.
OUTSEAM:
Measure from C to ankle or normal position man wears his trousers.
INSEAM:
Measure crotch to ankle or normal position man wears his trousers.
